When reporting and error, please include your log files and database to help us track down the issue.
Log files
If Miro is running, the Diagnostics dialog in the Help menu will show you where the log files are located.
Otherwise:
Windows
You may have to unhide the Local Settings / Local directories.
- Go to Control Panel > Folder Options
- Open the View tab
- Toggle the Hidden files and folders radio button such that Show hidden files and folders is selected.
Log files for Windows XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Temp\miro.logC:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Temp\miro-downloader.log
Log files for Windows Vista and Windows 7:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Temp\miro.logC:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Temp\miro-downloader.log
Macintosh OSX
Log files are located in:
/Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Miro/dtv-log/Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Miro/dtv-downloader-log
Ubuntu and other Linux distributions
Log files are probably located in:
~/.miro/miro.log~/.miro/miro-downloader.log
If you don't use PCF-built packages, then the locations of the log files will be wherever the packager put them.
Database Location
If Miro is running, the Diagnostics dialog in the Help menu will show you where the database is.
